Achievements
Initially, our efforts centred on raising money to secure the future of the
Club. More recently, we have played a vital role in managing the Club’s affairs
as we prepared for the coming campaign.
Listed below are some of the Trust achievements over the first 12 months.
- Raised £250k in 11 weeks and became a member of the Blenheim Consortium
- Gained a 30.2% shareholding in Notts County Football Club.
- Organised the Legends game which raised around £50,000.
- Increased communication with supporters through regular Trust newsletters,
fan’s forums, e-mail updates and media coverage
- Organised the ever popular Pie quiz nights
- Led with the renovation of Meadow Club
- Funded the purchase of Steve Scoffham from Gedligt Town F.C.
- Gained a Supporter-Director on the Board of Notts County to give fans a
real voice in the Club
- Signed up Trust Patrons including Tommy Johnson, Craig Short and Colin
Slater
- Signed up Gary Mills as a member of the Trust
- Recognised as one of the biggest and best Trusts in the country
- Helped organize the recent Open Day at the Meadow Lane
- Carried out a Fans’ Survey to help give supporters a voice in the way the
Club is run.
