I attended my first game at Meadow Lane about 38 years ago as a young lad of four or five when my dad took me and my elder brother during the Masson/Bradd/Crickmore era. The three of us continue to go together today, all of us a lot older but obviously no wiser. My professional life is as a project manager for central government developing environmental projects for remediating pollution from abandoned coal mines. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I have a houseful of women (two daughters and a wife) to keep me in check.

Keri Usherwood (Publicity) Keri has been a passionate Notts fan since arriving in Nottingham from north of the border in the mid-70's. His proudest moment came when he donned the "Mr. Magpie" outfit for a league game at Meadow Lane a couple of seasons ago. Keri became involved with the Trust because "There's just no way we can stand by and let our Football Club go under - simple as that".

She has been watching Notts for around thirty years, following in the footsteps of her father who was born at No. 9 Meadow Lane.
Having been involved with the Trust from the outset, Cheryl was keen to return to a more active role since moving to the Midlands.

As the third generation of my family to support Notts County I have 'black & white' blood and I briefly 'lived the dream' by playing for the 'A' team before my career was curtailed by injury. I've supported Notts since 1955 but, in a business sense, became more actively involved in 1982 when I was asked to become a commercial/marketing development consultant - unpaid, of course! Apart from publishing the programme for many years, I was also instrumental in arranging Club/shirt sponsorship deals with the likes of Monarch, Wrangler, Home Ales, Home Bitter, KLG, East Midlands Ceramics and, latterly, Fascia Mania. Amongst other commercial activities I was heavily involved in the successful launch of Lifeline back in 1987. I'm a long-term Vice-President and a shareholder [now former]. My confidence in various consortia proved to be ill-founded and convinced me that it was vital that the Trust had a major say in running our Club. As a former County Council group leader and the managing director of a successful Nottingham-based company who is fairly well known in the community, I feel I have the skills to negotiate with commercial and government agencies in order to enhance the Trust's role in securing our Football Club's future.

I attended my first game at Meadow Lane on Thursday August 29th 1963 with a 0-3 defeat to Coventry City, standing on the Old Kop with my Dad and thus following a long family tradition. This should probably have taught me a lesson, but in hindsight provided me a perfect grounding to cope with some of torment of the next 43 years. There has also been some very memorable highlights during these years, notably the Sirrel/Wilkinson era, our annual Wembley pilgrimage under Warnock and, albeit brief, very dramatic times with big Sam. Some of my most treasured memories emerged during these times which are still fondly remembered at family gatherings. My professional life is as a Sales and Marketing Manager for a leading US industrial automation provider, dealing with a range of blue chip companies including Nestle, Cadburys, Thames Water, and Kodak. This involves organising, developing and delivering sales/marketing initiatives with customers and partners. I live in Clifton Village, which I'm also the Chairman of the Village Residents Association, with a household of women, a wife and two daughters now both at University but who still regularly return home for free board and lodgings.

Trevor currently works in IT management within the NHS and has just completed a degree at Derby University. Previously he has been a Director and General Manager in a number of organisations as well as being self employed.
Trevor was involved with the Trust right from its inception and was one of the original members of the initial working group. Work commitments prevented him from serving on the Trust Board at that time but he now feels able to give of his time and expertise to help the Trust prosper.
My day job is an Academic Team Leader at Nottingham Trent University (Clifton campus) which basically means that I am tasked with managing a team of academics, as well as seeking external funding, undertaking research and lecturing. I teach sport and leisure studies on two undergraduate programmes, focusing particularly on the sociological, political and cultural aspects of sport.
Seeing as it is customary to state how long suffering you are in these biographies, I have been watching the Pies for over twenty years. My favourite player during that time is the `pale genius' Tommy Johnson with whom my partner Kristy thinks I have an unhealthy obsession having bought a signed pair of Tommy's boots at the Trust auction and have a signed shirt proudly hanging at home.

I was born and brought up in Nottingham and currently live in Bramcote. I am married with 2 grown up children. I have taught chemistry in Nottingham for 30 years, currently having the luxury of a 3 day working week. I was a City Councillor for 7 years but decided that politics was not for me.
I have been attending Meadow Lane since 1970 - firstly with my father, later being joined by my husband and then my children. Notts. has always been a part of my life - early memories of my dad coming home on Saturdays in the 60s vowing "never again", all those promotions (and relegations) which we later experienced together, standing on the half way line of the old County Road stand, the trips to Wembley, my children acting as mascots and ballboys, Football in the Community, Junior Magpies and children's birthday parties.
A member since administration days, I stood for the Trust Board this time as I have recently given up some of my commitments and so have the time to put something back into the Club.
My Grandad took me to my first game in London when I was eight and I was overjoyed to be able to do the same with my grandson at Meadow Lane a few years later! I chose to support Notts County when we moved to Nottingham in 1981 and have gradually got more and more involved. I joined the Trust as soon as it was set up and now have a Season Ticket in the Family Stand. I live within walking distance of Meadow Lane, in Lady Bay, and have two grown-up children living locally. I work as a Trade Union Organiser for Unison, the biggest public sector union and you'll have noticed that I've persuaded my employer to take adverts on both sides of the pitch! I don't believe you should have to be a millionaire to have a say in running a football club - Barcelona is owned by its fans - and I will do everything possible to help County and cement the club's relationship with local people.
I have been a supporter of Notts since I first went in 1966, continuing on a family tradition going back to the very beginning. There have been many great memories over the years, which the trips to Wembley are amongst the best, and being at Chelsea the day we clinched promotion back to the top flight under Jimmy.
I am presently running my own companies in the UK and Holland which I started in 1996, and have over 20 years of Project management experience. In this period I have had roles from Nuclear engineering to ICT consultancy. In the past few seasons I have also been a sponsor of the football club, and will continue to do so in the future. As well as a Life Member of the trust I am also a Life member of the Supporters club, and would probably be a life member of any club or association linked with Notts.
In summary I have a passionate devotion to Notts and care about what happens so felt it was time to lend a hand to those who have already committed so much of their time and effort to saving and keeping Notts moving forward. I hope that my experience of business will bring some skills to the trust board. Email: corporate@nottscotrust.org.uk
