You may optionally provide additional information to the Message Board system, which can be displayed to other users - your Display name, location, Avatar URL, Instant Messaging address and Trust Membership Number.
When you are logged in to the Message Board, your ‘Display Name’ will be displayed in the ‘Online Now” section of the main Message Board page. You will have the opportunity to opt out of this function. We will not send you email messages unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). For information on the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Information Commissioner please follow this link: www.dataprotection.gov.uk.
We use "cookies" to provide increased functionality on our website and for registration on our Message Board. Any information you provide to us is held securely on our web servers and not on your machine.
The Message Board system records the IP address of each visitor while they are using the Message Board. This will only be used to ban users who contravene the Message Boards “Acceptable Use Policy”. We will NOT link IP addresses to personally identifiable information. Please note: we may need proof of your identity if you wish to check the information we hold about you.
We do not provide or sell your details to third parties unless you have specifically requested that we do so. We will not reveal your personal identity with this disclosure of information. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information
If we change our privacy policy, we shall post a link to those changes on our homepage so that you always know what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. When we collect information from you, we tell you what we intend to do with it; if we later want to use that information for a different purpose, we shall first send you an email setting out our plans - and it will be up to you whether or not we do so.
